Can't access store when closed in 2.03

I’ve added the store access key and it still won’t work.



I have a 2.03 store - cannot afford the time to upgrade this week but I have to temporarily close the store and perform some maintenance.



The Close store function works, but the store access key does not, I find it hard to believe something hasn’t been posted about this yet.



In the version 1 store all you had to do was add a access key and the store would close, leave it blank and the store would be open - why did they change it because it worked, now you have to click close store at the bottom of the page and add an access key - but the access key doesn’t work - if you try to access the page it gives you the error:

Are you using the following type of URL?



http:///index.php?store_access_key=

Why is there another url I can use?



That’s what it’s always been, the error is not in the url it’s in the core or the programming somewhere.

Sorry, just asking! Good luck with figuring out the problem.



I am using 2.0.8 and have been using my access key without any problems.

I apologize, you sound offended, I thought you were telling me there might be another link I could use.



Thanks, hopefully it’s already been fixed, once I upgrade to a higher version I assume they’ve already been working on this since no one else seems to be experiening this same thing.



I thought maybe it was because of one of the modifications I made, but most likely it seems to be somewhere related to when you first get to the website’s front page.



Anyway, I appreciate your response, however I don’t think anyone knows.
