Can I have more than one index page

Hi



My Cs is set up on an ssl certified package.



I am wondering can I link in to an item page not visible on the main site ?



Is it possible to make the landing pages different to the main site

( by this I mean the main store is JBl0gs ltd but the landing page is FFlint$tone )

Do you mean the landing pages are on a different domain?



If not, what I have done in the past is to create pages in hidden topics and then created hand coded links in the footer area.



I found this all too much hassle eventually, updating multiple pages etc, so I stopped doing this but it might be what you’re looking for.

To address your actual question above the answer is “no”. The root of your domain must be addressed with index.htm, index.html, index.php (could be home.htm, home.php depending on server set up) for your store to work properly.



But if you want to link to pages that are not available on the main site you can create pages “outside” of CS-CART and link to them like:



www.mywebstore.com/Page1.html

www.mywebstore.com/Page2.html



If you want the page to be a “Product” page…you can create a product in CS-Cart and check it as “hidden” and then create a link to that page.



There are alot of different scenarios depending on “exactly” what you want to do.

What I would like to do



My main store is as normal www.

DOT dumdumDOTc0m



I would like to create items hidden in dumdum for access by



wwwDOT2dumDOTc0m & wwwDOTdummerDOTc0m



if these 2 domains have small sites which redirect to the main store for ssl purchases then the pages will be in DumDum.c0m style wont they ??



Can I get around this ??

Sometimes people will answer when they can and if they can provide information that they think would help. I’ve just started with CSC, but have been around the web for over 10 years and have gone through/seen just about everything there is to do and see :rolleyes:

If I’m understanding you correctly…my answer would be no. The store is the store and will look like what it looks like.



Because you are subject to the style of your webstore…you can create pages that look completely different (individually) and exactly like your landing pages but when you get right down to the product in the cart…it’s going to look like the style you have on your webstore dumdum.com.
