I made a caching module that works for anonymous and http only. It does however cache the output of cscart and saves it as an html file. It gets turned off if they log in or go to https or certain pages or variables in the GET/POST are set or something is in the cart. However, it really helps with server load, and even SEO since page response time is a factor in SEO.
How much do you think people would be willing to pay for this module? It makes most page views that you will have nearly instant. It also amps up what your server can handle alot in terms of traffic since most your views are going to just browsing the products on your site.
I also have on this module the real time shipping calculation is calculated on every view of every cart page but it needs retrieved only once and it adds a hefty 3 to 4 seconds to check fedex…
How much would you be willing to pay for such a completed module do you think and are there marketplacs I could put this up for sale?
