Blocks and pages based on logged in/out/group

This question is 2 fold, but related.



First I’d like the main home page of the site to display different information if the person if logged in or not. I wouldn’t want the page to even use the main template with the menu and headers in it.



Also, on some of the product pages, I’d like to show blocks based on logged in status and group access to the product.



Does anyone know where to look in the files for where to make those mods?
