I am getting repeated visits from a site called “semalt”. I don't like what I see when I look them up. Apparently they spy on sites. I tried to block their ip # 63.135.1.196 on “store acess” and receive a message that this is not a valid #. When I look them up on IP lookup- I see that they are located in Canada and the IP is valid.
How can I block them?
Thank you
notlim
Did you try blocking in the htaccess file?

Thanks for the tip, but I am super challenged in the need to write files. Shouldn't the Cart administration/Store Access handle this?
Is this a bug or do I have to pay the help desk to do it?
Thanks again
@notlim,
Could you please provide us with the whole text of error message? Perhaps you leaved the “#” sign or an external space before/after the IP?
Thanks.

Thanks for your message. I originally entered the # by copying the # by right click and then pasting the # in. This time I entered the number by hand and it took.
My bad.
Thanks
