Block products for certain states?

Is it possible to configure (or mod) CS-Cart to prevent certain products from being ordered to certain states?

Although I’m brand new in checking out cs-cart, from what I’ve already seen, YES we can.



create a shipping method (or several, as needed)

like “UPS zones 1-4 only” or name it “continental 48 states” or whatever

and you can delimit what region/s are covered…



…and in the product listing, tick only this shipping method, or UNtick any other shipping methods you wish to exclude for the product.



I’m thinking about the $$$ UPS hazardous materials surcharge

and the “can’t mail HaZzZzarDoUs materials” listed by the USPS
