HI everyone. I’m on the verge of a breakdown. Our site, adleap.com is having all kinds of problems. This morning, the site was up and correct. I went into the admin and settings and selected 1 page checkout and allow unlogged users to shop. After saving, my home page template is all screwed up.
Also, when you go into a category, it now says there are no listed products, when there are products in the category.
I’ve had nothing but problems for more than a week now and I dont know what to do.

Is this a 1.3.5 site? Who is your host? We’ll need some more clues…

It is a 1.3.5. It’s hosted on a dedicated server that we have with The Planet.
the problem seems to be with the Site Layout HTML. When I remove it, it goes back to the correct layout.
The next problem is that all of my products are not showing up in the categories. I can’t explain this at all.
The first thing I would do is get in touch with the Host’s customer support. Ask them if they recently rolled out any changes to PHP/MySQL on your box. Also, see if they can restore from a recent backup of your site. If you can get it back online, clone the site and DB and troubleshoot on that.
Looks like you guys are still having problems. Sorry, but it’s hard to offer any more detailed fixes without looking under the hood.

I agree with sixin9…
I know it’s hard “not to panic” but try to reset everything back (one step at a time) to the way it was when it was working correctly.
Do one thing at a time / Clear template cache and re-check to see if it’s working
“Uncheck” - 1 page checkout
“Uncheck” - Allow unlogged users to shop
Have you “Optimized Database” recently?
Have you backed up your database recently?
Can you “roll-back” to previous?

Do you mean Look and Feel > Site Layout?
if so, maybe post the code and let us take a look at it.
With the site layout, i’m not sure what happened. We’ve reinstalled and are in the process of putting everything back now.

I don’t see any glaring problems. I’d try the old “divide and conquer” method: delete half the code, drop it in, see if it works, repeat.
I’ve done that…every time I do…it completely screws up the left and right columns and puts them at the bottom of the center portion of the page.
Elmer328, i’m assuming you have used some sort in wysiwyg editor to generate that code, it’s a bit of a mess.
First off should not be used as the template already has these tags.

Also make sure your links are correct. You are using both absolute and relative links, i'd suggest you stick to relative links (without the http part).
href = "carousel_comp.js" is referenced from the customer dir.
href = "/carousel_comp.js" is referenced from the root dir.
There are at least one tag and a tag which isn't doing anything.
Try making these changes first and see what happens.

To say the least, there is a mess of errors in this code. That’s why I love wysiwyg editors :rolleyes: I’m sure one of them if not a combination are causing the issue.
