Here is how to find your web hosting company
1 - Go to this URL:
[url]Google Transparency Report
2 - Change to the end “google.com” with your web hosting company URL
3 - On the result page, looking for “This site was hosted on”
4 - Copy the “ASXXXX”
5 - Go there:
[url]http://sitevet.com/[/url]
6 - Paste the “ASXXXXX” on “Search our database” field
7 - Enjoy!

Good information but remember to keep things in perspective. I use HostGator and they use The Planet so when you do the lookup you’ll see some things that may be disconcerting, such as:
AS21844
AS Name: THEPLANET-AS - ThePlanet.com Internet Services, Inc.
HE Index: 172.6 (1000 is the worst, 0 is the best)
HE Rank: 10 (0 is the worst, not sure what the best is)
IPs allocated: 1669632
Blacklisted URLs: 18299 (seems like alot but remember the allocated number)
Hosts…
…malicious URLs? Yes
…badware? Yes
…botnet C&C servers? Yes
…exploit servers? Yes
…Zeus botnet servers? Yes
…Current Events?
…phishing servers? Yes
…spam servers? No
…spam bots? Yes
…spam activity? Yes
Given that The Planet is a server farm you are going to see bad enteries. Again, remember to keep it in perspective. The Planet is a large server farm so a blocked URL count of 18299 doesn’t seem so bad for a company that has 1,669,632 IP’s assigned to it. But that may just be me :).

Now, that is sooooooooo very true. If you are in Europe and look for a hosting company in Europe with interesting prices, AVOID OVH, I do not recommend them for hobby pages, imagine for a busisness. And NEVER EVER buy domain names from them, you’ll lose them , like you hear! Customer services (at least for Spanish customers) is a joke.
It is unbelievalble what this company has made to Spanish webmasters since they launched their Spanish version site and targeted that market, or must i say “since they began to look for new victims”?

more than 80 domain name with ovh and 10 hosting plan since 2007.
the price for dedicated server is accesible if you have sysadmin to build LEMP or LAMP server without ovh support.
if you have a problem? praying!!!
Once he changed the path of my hosting and 4 websites go down searching the old absolute path, I called my ovh and they say that everything was normal that nothing had changed in the configuration hosting , do not RECOGNIZING their mistake, I have then quickly change all the root path of script to repair .

I have no idea whether they are infected by it, I do know that English idiomatic phrase “fits them like a glove” hey, I used another one 
Also avoid Shinjiru just had a 48 hour downtime followed by them informing all the customers that they happened to lose all our data.
OVH? Worse hosting… LOL I must agree… Thanks for this informative information 
The bad host like when we wandering something we cant catchup even the information available also.
