Backup Not Working!

I am trying to take backup for upgrading to new version, but when i start backup after 10 min it suddenly stop and nothing happen. Please help



I seen my backup size is 84MB and after optimize this will be comes in 74MB

remove your statistics, when backup there is no need to include the tables such as cscart_stats_*, cscart_stored_sessions…



It will dramatically reduce the size of the backup database.

Administration->Statistics:General tab - click the “remove statistics” link.

Before backup I always clear cache, optimize db and most important remove statistics. Statistics takes most time in backup.
