Automated emails not arriving in customer's inboxes?

If I write a customer an email from our company email address and type something like, “hello”, the customers sees that email in their Inbox. BUT when I let the cart simply send the customer an invoice or anything generated by the cart… they do not get it. It isn’t going in junk or Spam but simply not arriving.



This seems to be common with Gmail and Hotmail.



Does anybody else experience this?

In this case I suggest that you should set up the method of sending e-mails via the SMTP server. Please go to Settings > E-mails in your CS-Cart admin panel, select via SMTP server in the Method of sending e-mails drop-down list and specify the STMP server settings. This should prevent the message from being sent to the Spam folder of your customers. Please check it.
