Authorize.net question

Hi all,



I am trying to gain understanding of how orders flow and have a question.



If I set up Authorize.net as my processor and choose to authorize only, can I process and capture the funds in CS-Cart when I process the order?



I don’t like to authorize and capture at order placement in case a customer writes and wants to change their order.

Authorize.net should allow you to pre-authorize a sale and effect the deposit later. Any processor will do that. But don’t forget to do the deposit, either manually or in a batch, or you won’t get the money.

I was just wondering if you could actually capture[effect the deposit] from within CS cart on orders that were preauthorized in CS Cart. My current cart lets me, as well as processing a batch all at once.
