Are watermarks served on the fly?

Question on the watermarks addon in V3.0.4. Are the watermarks served on the fly or will it permanently watermark the image?

On the fly. You can turn on or off watermarks anytime you want. The original image is still there. You can also change watermarks at anytime or even change the watermark location (top, middle, right, etc.) anytime. The cart adds the watermark on the fly when the page is loaded into the browser. Then the new watermarked image is stored in cache for future rendering.

No, there are saved in [color=#ff0000]/image/watermarked/…[/color] and if to try direct link to [color=#b22222]/images/detailed/…[/color] from .htaccess will be redirected to [color=#ff0000]/images/watermarked/…[/color] if the image is already generated will trow you and if is not will generate an the trow you



Sow if will have [color=#ff0000]allot [/color]of images you will have [color=#ff0000]allot * 2[/color] images :))
