Anyone planning on Google Analytics integration?

As said in the title.

i’m not using it yet, but looking at it i’d like to.

has anyone planned on integration of this into the admin yet?

is this easy?

it seems very interesting…

same i’d like for kelkoo, but i wouldnt know where to start thinking lol

anyone?

Integrating into Admin? I have it integrated into index.tpl and it’s been tracking.

yes… you have just to put these lines in the top.tpl, just bfore the

```php
```

i don't think it should be integrated in the admin.. not everybody use google analytics

i mean the results yes into the admin-area as a mod.

anyone?

I havn’t tried, having said that it sounds like a very good idea.

I would love the Flash GUI alone.

Jesse

the only way would be to include

Google Marketing Platform - Unified Advertising and Analytics

like a frame/iframe in the admin pages…

but does it worth it?

i would put a link to open Google Marketing Platform - Unified Advertising and Analytics on a new page

thx krur.

i am however are a fan of having everything integrated within the admin

itself…as i have loads more things in there made for myself.

i wast just curious of anyone had this already or planning.

thx

i do not have a tag in my top.tpl

According to google you should place your script at the very last line just above the closing tag.

Which you can add to index.tpl on line 52 (default _blue)

```php
```
i do not have a tag in my top.tpl
That’s why mine is in index.tpl
That’s why mine is in index.tpl
same here as it’s required on the front page(s) where every item loads

and most entries go straight to index.php

i am using it as it works well.

=)

I install the code and it works but is causing my SSL Cert. to give an error.

Does anyone know how to correct this problem.

Use the secure version (its fine to use on non ssl pages too);

be sure to add your tracking code where the XX's are.

You can find this information via the help function on the analytics website.

Hope that helps - I've just installed this to my CS setup.

Simon

Just out of interest.

Does anyone use the goal tracking on the checkout?

Not yet, but I’ll be looking into it. I’ll post here if I have any luck with a how-to!

Simon

Cheers Simon.

I tried to get it working on another cart I use but couldn’t get it working 100%.

I love Google Analytics so I will be having a good play around to get it working with CS. Will post any positive results.

I signed up ages ago but never got round to using it. Just got to build up some data now so I can get to grips with it before I look into the checkout stuff.
