Vinokurov: “A license for CS-Cart software costs $265 U.S., and additional licenses are $165 each. Lower pricing ($100-$135 U.S.) is available for resellers. Each license comes with a technical support package and a one-year period of free access to software updates, after which license holders can purchase an extra subscription plan.”
Actually additional license comes only with 20 support credits, that is enough only for one support question… Least they could offer is one month free support period…
Finally, we do not yet offer a hosted version
Other competitor shopping cart software developer (also from Russia) that I turned away from made this move and this was the worst decision they could ever make. Somehow they forget the roots where they start. If you are a software developer so do what you have, but do not try to move your clients to hosted version of the cart with monthly subscription fee. Also this is very time consuming process, no updates over a year who can wait this long?
Also, choose a vendor that will provide a helping hand and expert technical assistance in a friendly manner.
Yea right… “I am afraid this is not covered by support period or you need to buy support credits or period to resolve this issue” modifications - YES, bug fixes - NO. At the beginning support was most friendly that I ever dealt with. Now they do not even get in to the problem but respond with template responds like paypal… For example your code is not original, does 301 redirect in .htaccess can be counted as code not being original? Or you first should check on your demo cart if same problem persist there?
