Ajax Filter-by like www.watchshop.com

Hello all!

I would like to know who get an ajax Filter-by feature like www.watchshop.com.

I love this website and I will be very happy to know if there is a free or commercial mod to achieve this filter-by result, please.

Many thanks.

Best regards

Francesco

Try Sno’s “Shop by Features” Addon.

Thanks for your help, Stu… but I guess it isn’t what I’m looking for… :frowning:

The watchshop is using a fairly in depth filter and heavily coded modification of Cs-cart’s existing filter. We’re actually looking for a similar mod as Sno’s, shop by feature addon, but with the ability to be category specific as is being the case at the watchshop.

Aside from Sno’s addon, I have yet to come across a mod that works in this way. I believe at one time that a few of us were looking at pooling funds to have CS code this for us. However, I think the cost was going to be outrageous.

An inexpensive option might be to use the auto search/dynamic search type of addon. Believe a few of them exist and think one might be making it’s way into the next release of Cs. I know it’s not exactly what you need but it’s worth a look.

Have a look at this shop on the top of the category: http://www.e-gate.gr/peripherals-and-accessories/computer-peripherals/monitors/?category_id=80

Do you think this could do the job?

Yes, it is really interesting implementation for sure.

I'm still continuing to prefer watchshop's solution, because it is product's centric: you always perfectly see products and filters are on left side. In your solution, instead, you see filters and then, if you scroll, products.

My notes are about usability and layout logic.

By the way, how much does this module cost, please? Is it possible to move filters on left or right column, please?

Thanks!

I ll have to speak with my programmer cause this was for an older version so it's a matter of revising it.

I ll get back to you.
