Not sure if this is possible - have not seen the functionality in admin yet. I want to create different admin user accounts but I dont want to expose the ability of those admin users to edit the design or templates.
Are their different log on roles for the admin panel
example: Store Manager Role ---- Manages stock only and can only see product pages and category pages - adjust prices, add customers
Marketing Role ---- can add images and banners to system
etc…
If there isnt a way to do this - I think for security and a cleaner user interface for less powerful users - you can allow the configuraiton of the admin panel to suit your shop/admin and opertional needs.
I think there is a clear distinction between the design of shop / to management / to management of customers / management of promotions / management of the core database and template files
