Admin Package Tracking link to USPS, UPS, Fedex Site?

I noticed that from the customer view, you can click the shipping info for a package and the tracking number will have a hyperlink to the USPS, UPS or FedEx websites so you can see the details of the package. But when you go into the Admin or Vendor view there is no hyperlink on the tracking number.



Does anyone know how to get this so that I can have the hyperlink on both views?

If you want a ‘no click’ solution, you can use this addon:

Otherwise, copy the logic from the customer side into your admin template.

Will this also work with USPS (Post office) or is it only for the UPS?

This version only supports UPS. Doing USPS would not be difficult, but there has been so little sales for this that it’s not worth my putting forth the effort.
