New feature added: option to apply default category sorting to all subcategories
Am using this mod and am finding it indispensable! The default cs-cart allows you to specify only one global setting for product sorting (popularity, price, newest etc).
Most stores would want to display their product catalogs with custom settings (e.g. Newest for hot-selling items, price low to high for price sensitive categories, popularity / bestsellers for other categories). I liked the following features of this mod:[list]
[]Allows you to sort by POS codes in some categories, while applying category-wise logic quickly and easily. You can specify popularity / bestsellers as global setting, while applying custom settings to key categories to enhance sales.
[]The feature “apply to subcategories” basically copies the settings to each subcategory (instead of you having to do this one by one). This helps boost performance, as complex nested conditions are avoided.
[*]The logic & permutations are very well thought out to handle all eventualities.

When sorting via price does it pick the actual price or the list price as appears to be the case with the default sort by price.
Also if a promotion is on some of the items and this reduces the price will the sort order be able to read that and place it in the correct order ?
What would really rock this add-on is if we could also sort on features. For example, it looks much better if all products from 1 brand are showing together. I'm thinking something like:
1st sort order: by brand
2nd sort order: by price / popularity / etc
so that all products from 1 brand show together, sorted by 1 of the sorting options you already have.
