adding new products to an existing opened order

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if it is possible and if so how, I could add new products to an existing order that is opened.

The reason why I need to do this is because I have a minium order and some customers want to add new products to their order before I ship, I need to add the product to the order as creating a second order does not work as the item(s) are less then my minimum order amount.

I’ve tried to edit the order but it is not clear how I could add a new product.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I’m still running CS-Cart v.1.3.4-sp3

Just for sh*ts and giggles i tried this for you

(i am on 1.3.4 sp3)

I am assuming the order has already been made.

On View Orders, click detail

At the bottom click Edit Order

The Product Search Box appears under the existing (products) order

Search for the product you want to add

the product list appears. Add the amount of product in the box on the right and click “add”

The (added) product appears in the list. tickoff the checkbox and then click update.

The added product is now attached to that invoice.

click continue to the adjust shipping charges page and make the appropriate change there (the selectbox shows me the adjusted shipping)

I clicked process and it applied the changes and shows it in admin.

It looks like you have to “manually” ‘resend’ the invoice via admin though, it doesn’t automatically email the new invoice.

forget the above line, it DOES send an updated invoice automatically, both to admin and customer…HOWEVER, it is the same template as a new order

As far as adjusting the payment, It depends on how you process credit cards.
