Add Supplier To Promotion Conditions

Is there a way to add Supplier to the Promotion Conditions..???

So a condition being only products from Supplier1

Not out of the box that I'm aware of. However, you could group supplier products into hidden categories and then specify those categories as part of the condition....

I currently have all suppliers grouped up into their own categories.. Yet when creating a promo you have to select each individual category and sub category below it for the promo.. 200+ per supplier..

I thought if you selected the top level category that it would assume all sub-categories. I was thinking a hidden category that has no subs but is flat with all a suppliers products.

Have you tried just selecting the top-level category for the promotion?

Just tried it and NO... Selected just the top-level parent category and no subs and it will not work.. Each and every category and sub category has to be selected..

Then making a supplier as a condition would have to be an extension.

Assuming you want to specify something like:

if product_supplier EQ (some supplier from a picker)

Are you wanting this as a cart promotion, catalog, or both?

It would be nice to have it both ways. So we are not limited in our promotions..
