For my product system, product detail pages are unnecessary for the customer end. Product lists within the subcategories are the primary sales interface. WIth that in mind, I have set the cart system to display the 'Condensed List' by default (and only option), as in this image from the demo products:

Just prior to, or within the ADD TO CART column, I would like a QTY: ____ user input box, which naturally, is passed on through the cart.
I am new to smarty, so any tips/explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
