As I guess we all now 4.3.1 is out in the wild and we as developers now have a great tool for keeping updated our add-ons, but until now not much documentation is available so far
But as you will find our and if you are also like me, missing some Russian classes you will not get much from text )) , but as developers we need the code to understand (this is the way we learn cs-cart at the beginning) and that is there available.
We manage to almost make it work a few thinks remain undone but the ugly part is that on every upgrade of the add-on the store will create a full backup, which is not so good because:[list=1]
[]is taking to much time to upgrade an add-on and in all this time the website will be closed
[]will require allot of space for doing backup’s, of course can be deleted but for normal user will be hard to upgrade an add-on > delete the backup, upgrade an add-on delete a backup and so on

Upgrade Center has been already improved in version 4.3.3, is great that files created/modified/deleted are now listed but is still missing the part with before and after, before modified and after file has been modified and cs-cart support team let us know that is underdevelopment and will be available in the next versions.
Another feature that must be added to Upgrade Center is to check also for upgrades for disabled add-ons because will help allot and think of this situation:
Store admin will upgrade the cs-cart to a newer version and a specific add-on is not yet compatible and the admin will disable the add-on in order for the store to function and to be available for customers even without add-on extra functionalities until the add-on can be upgraded, and as the add-on is disabled and cs-cart upgrade center will check for upgrades and will find also for disabled add-on and will notice the admin and after upgrade add-on can be activated again and everybody happy.
Otherwise store admin will need to contact the developer and receive an answer in 2,3 days/months/years )) depend on developer and wait also for a fix that already developer make it available in Upgrade Center support.

How should this work? You mean disable all 3rd party add-ons after CS-Cart core upgrade?

No, when active 3rd party add-ons are checked for any upgrades available, system should check also for disabled ones
