About paypal checkout

Hello,



Is there any mod for PayPal checkout, so customers don't leave the my website.



I want them to checkout on my website, not redirect to PayPal website.



Any information will be much appreciated.

To the best of my knowledge, the only way to do that is with PayPal Pro, which carries a $30/month gateway fee.

[/quote]Hi Tom, Kingsleypress is correct. PayPalPro does cost $30/month and does work with CS Cart. The customer does not leave your website during check out unless they use their PayPal Express card. There is also another…PayPal Advance. This one only costs $5/month, but this is not integrated with CS Cart. I asked CS Cart about this and they had told me they could do this for me for a price. There was a few members that had got together and went in on splitting the cost for doing this. I will see if I can find the post for you. I do have PayPal Pro and I am very happy with it. A feature that I really like is the ability to email an invoice to a customer (for those unique cases), the customer then pays the invoice and I get paid…

I find it very puzzling that CSC doesn't offer this as part of the core product, especially considering…


  1. Virtually every eCommerce store on the planet accepts PayPal.
  2. Virtually every said store would also like to avoid sending their customers over to PayPal to make the payment.
  3. $5 per month is virtually free.



    Like I said… puzzling

MDF, I think you are referring to: PayPal Payments Advanced, which is $5.00 per month and the customer does not leave site.

This is fairly new. Only been available for a little more than a year. Not too many other carts have this integrated yet. It has been requested (see link in jimmyod's post above.)



CS-Cart does have PayPal Express, PayPal Standard and PayPal Pro integrated. ( I am using the first two), but not the new method.

I thought CS-CART or a developer would have created a mod for this additional PayPal method by now.

I'd rather see this module rather than a version 4.x.

Thank you, good to know. Maybe I WILL upgrade. Hope it is actually there and not just a place holder.



Amazon Payments mod is also due for improvements.

Was told a few months ago by CS-Cart that they are working on a new module. The current one is not working again.

The code looks legit. Whether it has bugs or not is another story.
