The ability to sort/move Variants up and down in the list, would make product management much nicer.
It would also allow you to ensure that the first options (default selected) are option combos that are in stock.

Their is already a position field that is used for sorting, where are you referring to about sorting variants that doesn’t have a position field for sorting the order?
must have been a long day… I totally overlooked it… had it in mind that I was looking for up and down arrows, or drag and drop.
So yes, this works just fine… oops.
