I know I have seen this question posted but have not been able to see a post which resolved the problem. During install I encounter this problem which stops my install and I do not know how to get around it.
The URL rewrite engine is disabled. Subpath-based storefront URLs will not work.
If I have missed a post with the resolution, I apologize. IPage, my webhost, has yet to come up with a solution from there end.
