2 questions for you design gurus

Ive got 2 small issues that have been bugging the **** out of me.


  1. Ive got a white gap between my flash banner and static banners that only displays in IE7 and it doesnt display for everyone in IE7. Clearing cache on both the server, client and cart doesnt resolve it on the machines that see it. Any ideas?








  2. Some GIF’s and PNG’s look absolutely ****py/blurry on IE7. Ive included



    img { -ms-interpolation-mode:bicubic; }



    in my style sheets thinking it was a resize issue (even though the default sizes are specified) but this has not alleviated the problem. Any ideas?

Just out of curiousity, what was wrong?

I’d like to know (out of curiosity) as well what the problem was and how to solve it. Also, dumba$$ or not, there are plenty of us around and maybe some of us will come across the same problem at some stage and it would be good to know the solution.

The ole ctrl + mouse scroll wheel causing IE to zoom the page…





first one to laugh gets it!



edit: I also found that increasing font size to large or larger on very big monitors (like a 52" TV also has this effect)
