2.0.15 issue: Invalid username or password!

After the installation, if you try to login Administration Panel, it always returns a message: Error! The username or password that you entered is invalid, Please try again! I entered the default username: admin and password: admin. I found there was nothing in the table: cscart_users and its related tables.



Please fix it ASAP! :frowning:

What happens if you try to reset the password with “Forgot Password” ?

It returns ‘The username you entered does not match any account in our store. Please make sure you have correctly entered the username associated with your account and try again.’



It actually asks to input my email address which is the same as the one requested during installation.



If you could install a demo onto your site, you should be able to know it quickly. Didn’t you test the whole installation before you release this version? Anyway, since this shouldn’t be a difficult issue, hopefully it can be fixed soon. Thanks!

First I have nothing to do with CS-Cart, Second I’ve installed several installations with no problems at all, Thanks - Sno

Sorry, I thought your were from CS-Cart. It’s weird you don’t have problems. I’ll check my installation again. I don’t have any problems to install version 2.0.13 or 2.0.14 at all. However 2.0.15 doesn’t allow me to log in the Administration Panel after installation. Thanks for your information anyway.

My upgrade went off without a hitch in my local environment as well. Will update my site over the weekend.

I just tried to install 2.0.14 and 2.0.15 again. It’s still the same. 2.0.14 works perfectly fine. However 2.0.15 doesn’t allow me to log in Administration Panel. Also, I found there was not Top Menu on Demo Site. Does anybody else have the same problems?

We had a similar problem logging in from Chrome, Opera, and Safari, but Firefox and IE can login fine. Also, this only happens on some server configurations, I think the culprit is a suhosin setting, but I have not narrowed down which one yet.

Finally, I got it run normally. The version 2.0.15 I downloaded yesterday was within 3 hours after CS-Cart released it and had these issues. I just downloaded it again 10 minutes ago and found the size of the new zipped file were different to the old one. I uploaded the new file and reinstalled it. Everything works fine right now. The programmers must have done something after the first release and didn’t notify us. Try to download it again if anybody has the same problems.

I upgraded last night, but my store won’t open for some reason. I keep clicking the “open store” link, but it never works!



Any ideas?

I cleared my /var/cache/cache.db file and it works now… weird.
