compatibility issue with 2.015?

Hey WEBO need you help please.

Webo doesn’t monitor these forums, use their site and contact them directly.

It turns out that I messed up. There was an extra opening div tag that I had placed in a text banner. I haven’t had time to re-install WEBO, but it was not the problem.

Hello All,

Demo page doesn’t work:

WEBO Site SpeedUp doesn’t use any CS-Cart features to get access to the server or database. Only website speedup, nothing more. Product is completely Open Source, and you can check this by yourself.
For $349 Usd Just To Correct Their Error
All WEBO Site SpeedUp packages are carefully tested through a number of unit tests / test environments. New features can be incompatible with the current environment, and all information about this is located in the official blog

http://blog.webogroup.com/. For example this blog post about v1.2.0

We are fixing incorrect product behavior for free. But in 99% of cases all issues users can solve by themselves - via documantation, video tutorials, bug tracker, or blog. And these issues are not related to product bugs, just to incorect configuration.
When We Bought It Was $24 Usd Lite Version Now Its $99 Usd The Lite Version
Are are still incorrect. Lite Edition costs $90

http://www.webogroup.com/store/

And there was no increase in price. We just changed all licenses from 1-year to lifetime period, http://blog.webogroup.com/2010/08/changes-in-licensing-policy.html . You can still pay $25 per year only (or even less) in case of SaaS Edition.

Also there were some changes in support policy (with correct SLA), you can read more here
And You Have No Support At All
It seems your e-mail support period (after the purchase) has expired. But if you contact me directly we can get a solution for your issue. For free.

But please stop your absurd accusations.

WEBO Software would like to answer here, but our replies are not approved by moderators. Sorry.

What is the password for this page:

http://demo.sitespeedup.com/webo/index.php

Moreover, your website:

http://webo.name/

shows me some troubles with my Virtuemart website that I solved…

There are some others competitors to your software, as for example this one for Magento :

http://www.aitoc.com/en/magento_booster.html

I can compare their source code with your source code of your website:

http://www.webogroup.com/home/site-speedup/

Your source code is more optimized than their. A lot more.

There are dozens (hope not hundreds) of competitors, for example you can see a lot of at Joomla! extensions page

http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/site-performance

But no one can guarentee enterprise-level of performance optimization for a middle-/low-cost price. Right from the performance experts.
Your source code is more optimized than their. A lot more.
Thank you. www.webogroup.com performance optimization is handled also with WEBO Site SpeedUp (strong HTML caching / all optimization actions over a very weak shared hosting).

i am not making anything wrong. they offered me free service after i wrote here. they wanted to charge me $360 usd to fix the problem. and then they said that they can fix it for free why not in the first place?

after all that conversations and here, they have sent me an email saying that they had a problem with the new 2.015 version… mmm? am i doing something wrong? or are they giving me wrong information???

i think i have all the right to ask them what the problem is and even if they are legit and partner of CS Cart that doesnt mean i have no right to ask question and share my thought with others.

if a company can not take negative feedbacks and does not do anything to better themselves it would be better they just get out of the business TODAY!..

@silverbestbuy,

The acusation of stealing information from DB is very-very serious. Also very unlikely for an open-source software.

Your comercial relation with them is something else, and it is not that serious. If you are angry do not throw with any kind of acusation.

Just an ousider opinion. Really. I do not know directly any of this guys.

I just instaled WEBO on my test domain and I’m looking for tips about how to set it up.

Since our last upgrade, with SEO Rewrite enabled in CS-Cart, I am unable to get Webo to work correctly.

I get 404 no page found error when I visit the live store pages after enabling Webo… Is this just me or has anyone else ran into the same problem…

I run the Smartoptimizer with some extra tweaks to Apache and PHP and things are flying. Even after CS upgrade, no problems whatsoever. One evening was enough to configure everything. Is this Webo stuff really worth the money and time for what you get at the end? Just curious.

Dunno how to answer that really friend, guess it depends on the person installing it.

When I had it working my site ran fantastic and much faster than when I was using smartoptimiser, however I am no expert really on tweaking smart optimizer and perhaps it could be faster with the right person knowing more than I but for me Webo was the way to go.

Now with that said, if you are volunteering to optimize/tweak smart optimizer for me I might give you a shot at it but until then… Yes its worth it… :stuck_out_tongue:

It does work for me. I ran some tests with free tools before and after and must say, so far so good. I heard from some people complaining and SO, but I think it’s down to how your server is configured. It doesn’t really need much to config. Look into 2 files within SO folder, open them and try to experiment with different values. Do index?cc first to clear cache.

Unfortunately, I don’t get involved with other’s servers. Too risky. I took me a month to get my VPS the way I wanted, but don’t worry, I can definitely help you and eat all the ice cream you have in your fridge

We updated WEBO Site SpeedUp to 1.3.0 to prevent broken backward compatibility of CS-Cart API / functions. Smart Optimizer is a very simple tool, so it’s great for simple tasks. But if your need to make your website really faster and more reliable you need to use a professional solution.

Hello Webo,

I have two questions.

I test one of your pages:

http://www.webogroup.com/home/site-speedup/

The “Google Page Speed” meter is 95/100!

http://code.google.com/intl/en/speed/page-speed/

The YSlow is a Grade A - Overall performance score 90!

http://developer.yahoo.com/yslow/

The Pingdom’s loading time is incredibly as low as 2 seconds!

Website Speed Test | Pingdom Tools

I’ve never seen a dynanmic site as fast and as optimized! Never. Congratulations!

However, this Pingdom results shows us a lot of CSS images.

Indeed, in your CSS file, there are 97 different CSS images (background:url):

http://www.webogroup.com/cache/f9166b6c73.wo1284902823.css

Here are my two questions:

1 - Why don’t you combine images to save HTTP requests, your website could load faster yet?

2 - Why don’t you use CSS sprites?

What are CSS sprites:

http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/04/27/the-mystery-of-css-sprites-techniques-tools-and-tutorials/

Online CSS sprites generator:

http://csssprites.org/

The best results are obtained by making a CSS sprites by ourself with Photoshop or GIMP:
