Ok, just got an update for the "how-to"s for setting up Authorize.net.
Hope this info helps:

In order to have the ability to process payments through "Authorize.net" Curl support should be enabled on your server where your CS-Cart is installed. If CS-Cart is installed on your local computer in order to use PHP's CURL functions you need to install the libcurl package to your computer. You will be able to download it from the "http://www.php.net/curl" page. Please follow the installation instructions on the page and install it.
If CS-Cart is installed on another server please contact your server administrator and ask him to enable CURL extension.

How to set CS-Cart up with your Autorize.net account -
In order to do it you should log in your administrator back-end and click on the "Payment methods" link in the"ADMINISTRATION" sidebox on the right. On the "Payment methods" page select the "AuthorizeNet.AIM" in the "Processor" drop-down select box beside "Credit Card" (or another payment method) and click on the "Configure" button below. AuthorizeNet settings page will be open. Fill in the following fields:

"Login" - your AuthorizeNet login
"Transaction key" - transaction key that you can get on AuthorizeNet web site
"Currency" - Enter "USD" (without quotes) to accept payments in U.S. Dollar
"MD5 hash value" - MD5 hash value that you can get on AuthorizeNet web site
"Test/Live mode" - Set it to "Test" while testing the credit card processing through this payment gateway
"Order prefix" - any prefix you wish orders to have (not required field)

Click on the "Update" button to save changes.

I just signed up with Authorize.net for gateway processing, but need to know how to implement the code for actual processing.

From what I understand, you use "CURL" - I visited their website, but wants me to install software to my local PC??
Is there any simplicity to having this installed?

From what I see in the sidebox.tpl file - in the /skins/default_magenta/customer/addons/bestsellers directory, there is the following code:

<a href="{$index_script}?{$target_name}=products&product_id={$bestseller.product_id}"...

From what I see, if you change product_id to: image_id, this may work, but I have not attempted this yet.

so the 2 codes I would change would be:
product_id = image_id
$bestseller.product_id - $bestseller.image_id

I would make a backup copy of the orignal sidebox.tpl file first, then
attempt to try this

You can create a text link to list all the items like the following example:

http://www.yourstore...id=0&q=&x=9&y=6

You could create a link that says "view all products" and have that hotlinked.

However...it is currently setup under "pre-defined" figures and not "realtime"...this is my issue since I want it setup realtime.

The shopping cart "hangs" when I choose realtime

If i configure UPS settings to be "manual", I can proceed to checkout, but if I choose "realtime", it just sits there and doesn't proceed.
Anyone have any input on this?

I believe all my settings are correct and wouldn't mind someone
verifying that for me.

ok....after playing around with the shipping settings/methods....I had to go into each method (UPS 3-day Select) and choose a country/state and apply any charges to it before it would show up...silly me!...sorry for the post!

I've created an acct with authorize.net and put the API key, trans key, etc in all the fields and updated it - then tested it by adding an item to my cart, but when I get to the "customer information" screen and click "continue"....it "hangs" and then times out....any suggestions on this?

I would be glad to provide someone to take a look at my settings.
