#2207 Modify an order / E-mail a customer

Posted by jazzy29 on 09 June 2006 - 07:08 PM in General Questions

You did Susan, do you remember the technicians name? Are we talking about the surcharge mod?

I had them create the option to go in and add a custom shipping amount to the invoices. The tech was Alex Vinokurov if that is any help.

#2175 Modify an order / E-mail a customer

Posted by jazzy29 on 09 June 2006 - 04:06 AM in General Questions

Ha! I paid them $50 to configure and add that option just a couple of months ago. I should have waited and got it for free like everyone else. Mind you, I can no longer use CS-Cart so it's a moot point.

Susan

When I get orders in, Is there any way to modify for example to ADD a charge, I handle shipping after they place an order and want to mail them a modfied $ total / tracking number from the cart system.

I want to add a charge to the total and e-mail the customer details / tracking numbers, can this be done from the cart?

thanks

#2116 Help - CS-Cart crashed

Does anyone have any suggestions or answers? The server owner has indicated that they will not permit CS-Cart to be reloaded onto their server.

As soon as the directory was chmod'd to 777 something got loose and took down the server. The OS has been reloaded and the server files are now being restored.... WITHOUT any CSCart files.

#2058 Help - CS-Cart crashed

Posted by jazzy29 on 07 June 2006 - 03:24 AM in General Questions

We tried to run the upgrade and the cart has crashed. The data is still on the server. My tech person has asked me to try to find out which directory the orders are stored in so he can try to save the information for me. I believe his plan is to save all the data he can, delete everything else and run a fresh install.

When I try to access admin, I get the following. Any help would be most appreciated.

Susan
--------------------
Error: Can't write template cache in the directory: /home/httpd/vhosts/saddleuptack.com/httpsdocs/var/compiled/admin.

#1242 Sales Tax

Posted by jazzy29 on 06 May 2006 - 04:07 PM in v1.x Configuration

I'm having trouble with the sales tax. We only charge sales tax on items shipped to Florida. I have set up the sales tax to be applied to shipping address only.

Sometimes the sales tax is charged, sometimes it is not.

Is this a glitch I'm not aware of?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Susan
