It's useful when you are out of the desk and need to change an order status (even your courier can use it to mark the order delivered immediately), update product quantities (for example, at your warehouse), reviewing latest orders, today's statistics, etc, etc.

Actually, your responsive themes will be automatically visible to your mobile users if you disable Twigmo right now.

We do use Searchanise and it works good, although I've never been happy with the whole billing setup between Searchanise, Twigmo, and CSCart updates, having 2 sites. everything is on a different cycle for renewal/payment. just prefer one annual fee for all services used. is more predictable especially with a constantly changing exchange rate.

I see, but unlikely it can be improved, sorry. This is a part of our life where we have dozens of different subscriptions from hosting to loans.

You can keep your current Twigmo subscriptions active if you need its mobile admin app (do you use it?), because you can switch off only displaying the mobile skin and not disable the whole add-on.

First of all, thank you for being a Twigmo service user.

Yes, the latest release of Twigmo add-on for CS-Cart was 1 year 3 months 12 days ago.

Technically, it is required to rewrite each CS-Cart function in the Twigmo add-on to adapt these functions to data format of Twigmo mobile service (Twigmo was designed as a versatile service for different ecommerce solutions). In other words, we need to code the second CS-Cart software and put it inside the Twigmo add-on to copy all the CS-Cart functions to Twigmo. Obviously, we never planned to do so and added only the most useful functions.

Now there is a responsive skin in CS-Cart 4 (and Twigmo can never repeat all its functions) and the number of CS-Cart v2, v3 users (they don't have a mobile skin out of the box) is naturally decreasing (they are switching to CS-Cart 4). In this situation, it does not make sense to invest time and money in further adapting the rest of CS-Cart functions to Twigmo mobile format. But Twigmo is not dead, it continues to render mobile sites for all its clients 24/7 and we have no plans to stop this service (actually, CS-Cart v2 and v3 users have no default alternatives to it). Also, Twigmo serves the default CS-Cart add-on Mobile Admin App.

If you use CS-Cart v4 (you do), yes, we recommend to use the default responsive theme.

I'm afraid, the application mode cannot be enabled for the Plus plan as it was designed only for Twigmo native applications.

I can only confirm that the development has been suspended. Most probably, it will not be resumed in the nearest future (or be resumed only for the Multi-Vendor edition), but everything can happen.

PhoneGap is a good choice. We used it for creating all Twigmo applications and planned to continue using it.

If someone makes a change in the template, for example in Detail Product view, possibly the change will not be seen in Twigmo because Twigmo does not allow to change its templates. You can see a example here: http://forum.cs-cart...-options-table/

You quoted the general Apple requirements, but there were nothing about "Apple doesn't allow to wrap a online shop in a app" and "Apple doesn’t want you to conduct any commerce outside the App Store". 

Apple does allow ecommerce apps for physical goods with any payment gateway and restricts only apps selling some types of digital content. We published 30+ iOS app that are "websites wrapped in PhoneGap" and never had problems with Apple approval due to "it's an online store with PayPal, not In-App Purchasing":

We plan to wrap a web version of CS-Cart in an iOS app as we do now in Twigmo. All payments methods that are used in a web store will be available in an iOS app (if possible).

Twigmo was not the only reason, it was a important reason but CsCart is much more, it's a Excellent shopping cart software, I will continue with it

Unfortunately, there is no final decision on that CS-Cart service, so I cannot answer your questions right now (I don't want you to be disappointed if something changes later). But most probably it will not be cheap and be offered as a part of the most expensive CS-Cart plan (will be announced later) together with some other privilege options. So you may need to start seeking for an alternative right now if you are looking for an app solution at $40/month.

I'm not sure that the new CS-Cart service will change something for 3rd party CS-Cart developers. Actually, they can offer a mobile app for CS-Cart now (and they do as you can see in the very first topic post).

I have bought CS-Cart because I wanted a app for my web but now you haven't it. 

We apologise for removing the Twigmo Platinum plan (it was available since February 2015 till February 2016). If Twigmo was the only reason to buy a CS-Cart license, please contact us via the CS-Cart Help Desk and we will return your money for the license.

Please, CS-Cart Team, may you give to your customers a date for the launching of the Platinum plan?

Why you can not give us a date? We just ask a "Date" to dispel the uncertainty.

 

 

The latest information is that Twigmo will unlikely have the Platinum plan again in the future. We will update the Twigmo website soon. We plan to offer this option (a private mobile store app) as a part of the firm CS-Cart service later this year (no exact date either, sorry).
