#206424 Sagepay 3.00 Integration

Posted by zaas90 on 25 February 2015 - 04:40 PM in Configuration

Hi, yes I have had a similar email from Sagepay. Sagepay have given me this link:

"Thank you for your email, to upgrade to v3.00 please follow the link below:

https://www.sagepay....t/migrate-to-v3

Kind regards,

Jenna Moreland
Customer Services Advisor
Sage Pay"

I suspect though that this will be taken care of directly via CS CART as this mod is part of the system as far as i can tell. Can someone clarify this issue please?

Thanks,

Mark

#195723 Change The Whole Site Across To Https.

Posted by zaas90 on 30 October 2014 - 03:12 PM in General Questions

Hi, our SEO chap said this: "Migrating the site to HTTPS is not a huge gain in terms of SEO (it is critical in the audit as an approach, because if it's not implemented, some recommendations based on that will change.). I’d recommend prioritizing the content and other aspects before working on this. I assumed that it is not that difficult, but if it takes a lot of work and creates additional issues, it might make sense to postpone this. But it undeniably helps on the long run."

But I'd like to confirm if there's a problem in getting this working? And if there is whats the fix. We ran our last site across https without any problem and so would like to do the same with this CS Cart version.

Thanks,

Mark

#195712 Change The Whole Site Across To Https.

Posted by zaas90 on 30 October 2014 - 11:45 AM in General Questions

Thanks for coming back. I appreciate that and its what the SEO chaps say too, but there's the advantage of keyword data which they mention later on. So is it possible with CS cart or not?

"While the advantage is only slight in rankings, the other benefit of early adopters of SSL can be for example more keyword data later on."

Thanks,

Mark

#195709 Change The Whole Site Across To Https.

Posted by zaas90 on 30 October 2014 - 11:04 AM in General Questions

Hello, maybe my post isn't very clear after re-reading it.

To elaborate, we have a SEO specialist working with us and CS CART and they tell me using SSL across the whole site will bring SEO benefits.

Is it possible to have SSL working across the whole site and have https canonical links?

Thanks,

Mark

#195613 Change The Whole Site Across To Https.

Posted by zaas90 on 29 October 2014 - 02:52 PM in General Questions

Hi, I followed this link but my canonical links aren't correct then.

http://kb.cs-cart.co...tps-whole-store

I have the 'CS-Cart SEO Ultimate 3.0' plugin and the following chat with Louis from there. See attachement.

https.gif

So basically, I'm trying to find out if I can run ALL my store through https and have all the conical links for SEO pointing at https too. Not sure who deals with what. e.g CS CART or CS-Cart SEO Ultimate 3.0?

Any help to clarify would be great.

Thanks,

Mark

#192326 Sagepay Form Callback Url

Actually 'drop shipping' wasn't really the correct phrase. Its a 'mail fulfillment' company: http://www.btbmf.co.uk/

#192325 Sagepay Form Callback Url

Posted by zaas90 on 16 September 2014 - 12:56 PM in General Questions

Hi, I've moved to CS-cart from a bespoke cart. I'm nearly there with the site now.

On the previous host, I have a callback script (php) which gets triggered once the payments has been made via Sagepay form.

The script basically get the order details (name/address/delivery address/ all order prodcuct codes) then places the order in a third party (drop shipping) company.

I wrote the original script myself (using the info from the third party site) and got this working.

I've set this new site up to the 'Sagepay form' setting and would like to run a script that does the same.

Now because this is a new cart to me, I could do with help where to look.

I would need to know the following:

1) Is it possible to have a callback script from the 'Sagepay form' plugin you have?
2) Would you be able to help where I could get the session details for a customer, so I could make this script.

Alternatively is there anything such as a 'add on' that might simplify this.

Thanks for any info!

Regards,

Mark

Great, thanks for that. I'm new to CS CART but enjoying working with the coding etc. Will this change be overriden with CS CART updates? I'm trying to keep a log of changes to avoid issues on updates. I recently ran your latest update which went smoothly.

Thanks,

Mark

Hi, the QUICK PRODUCT VIEWER is truncating my descriptions. Can you let me know where I can edit to allow the full description to be displayed?
