#140961 Best shopping cart for recurring billing - CS-Cart or Others?

Posted by msaunders on 17 July 2012 - 05:08 PM in General Questions

Hoping to get some help from the community.

I have 3 CS-CART licences and am starting another site that deals with weekly recurring billing for a service. I want to know two things -

1. Is CS-CART a good option for recurring billing - i.e. is the flow very user friendly for the visitor to make the first (most difficult) purchase?

2. Does the purchaser have to receive a weekly invoice or can they just receive it the first time?

I am looking for the best shopping cart option and have heard about Magento and others, but the price tag seems high.

Any suggestion for best shopping carts for recurring billing would be great.

Would love to see an example of a few recurring billing CS-CARTS, so if you feel like sharing them, please send the URL's.

Thanks in advance.

#120254 Shipping setting went nutty - any suggestions

Posted by msaunders on 24 August 2011 - 02:02 PM in General Questions

I set up CS-CART a couple of months ago for all shipping to be $12.50 for the first item and $2.50 for each additional. It was flawless until I got an order yesterday and it registered $10 for shipping.

Anyone have any idea why this would happen? I've looked at the documentation in terms of the cost and item dependencies and can't find anything I am doing wrong.

Also, out of the blue 2 days ago, it will not accept orders from Texas, stating that it can't ship there. I've checked all the shipping options and Texas is treated no different than the other 49 states.

Any help is appreciated on these items.

I've used Campaigner for the past 2 years and like it. Pretty easy to use.
