I have been using Twigmo for ... well I suppose since it has been on CS-Cart Add-on. But my old credit card expired, updated with the new card info (account # same ,etc just a new exp date and 3 Digits). Now Bluesnap cannot bill it anymore and tried a different credit card and that card was not going through on Bluesnap.

So in order to possibly same myself future headaches, I do not want to give Twimgo's Bluesnap another valid credit card # on top of the valid 2 they already gave.

Is it possible to re-setup a PayPal monthly payment again? I thought when you first started charging for Twigmo, PayPal was a valid payment option...but then the Bluesnap appeared instead.

I love having the mobile Twigmo add-on and it works very well, but it has been difficult to get my monthly payment to you.

This happens occasionally in my store also (2.2.5) but I was never able to spot the problem. Guessing, I figured maybe that a customer used maybe their cell phone/table to check the order status via email but then on another computer checked the status. I think it has a security type protection so only the computer that the link request came from can view it with-in a certain amount of time.

I would be very curious too to see if someone knows why that might be happening.

I'm surprised this is not completely standard now with CS-Cart 4.x??

Would it be possible to do something like a newsletter/IP address and/or cookie match? For instance if the customer subscribes to your mailing list, and if the IP address is captured along with the email address...then if they return in the future and add some items into the shopping cart but never checkouts you (or the software automatically anyhow) could match up the current IP address from the cart with the IP address in the mailing list. Or also maybe put some type of cookie on their browser to identify them when they return so after they load up the shopping cart but never finish the checkout. Of course if they occasionally wipe out their cookies or jump around on IP addresses then this would not work...but it could be a way of sending them the cart reminder email without being intrusive in your store.

This would only work if they subscribe to your email / newsletters but if it could be automated it might bring in some sales?

Support for N. America also needs to improve. 24hr delay with responses of "we'll get back to you when we have time" is unacceptable.. It can take a week or more to get an issue addressed. If it's fatal, a merchant could go out of business as a result.

On the plus side of support, they are patient, trustworthy and courteous.

That's it! One of the reasons of hesitance with my on upgrading to the latest CS-Cart is just that. I always felt that the USPS shipping module is lacking...for instance many times the USPS itself will make changes to their service names, and it will always mess up the shipping module and it took many days for a simple fix to come out from CS-Cart. Just leaves me a feeling of possibly the CS-Cart staff does not really care that a major issue came up but since it in the USA, then they will fix whenever they get a chance. I could be wrong and they do that for everyone/problem that comes up.


Is CS-Cart big in the USA, or is it more popular in other countries? If there is a little customers in the USA compared to other countries around the globe, then this could explain why USA type problems are slower to get addressed?

One thing, I really do hate switching hosts (transferring everything over, getting the settings right on the new host, etc) ... and with all of your thoughts then let it be written on a stone table - "I will be sticking with my current Hybrid VPS."

Hi there. With my current hosting company, I am currently paying roughly $90 a month for a hybrid VPS, and the hosting company has good support and can update the sever when needed, etc. But this comes out to over $1k per year for hosting.

With my own home internet server provider, I currently have 75Mbps UP/75Mbps DOWN internet speeds and can upgrade if needed to 150/150 or higher. So for having a sever at home now speed-wise is possible for me... but I know (right now at least) very little on setting up a home web server so I do not know if this would be worth it (to save $1k+ per year).

Is anyone here running their own server at home with CS-Cart running?
And is it a time consuming process to run/maintain a home server?

I am still a little annoyed with CS-Cart and the fact that I found bug in the live shipping rates and I had to pay CS-Cart with credits to fix the bug. This was before CS-Cart V3 was ever released when I first started using CS-Cart 2.2.x ...I think this must be the main reason why I still have not upgraded with CS-Cart.

So far I am only on the base Twigmo price plan as that is all I need .... But it is definitely worth the cost for what this Add-on does. All the latest updates have been installed seamlessly for me (Running 2.2.5 store) which is nice too. Nothing is more aggravating than getting a update that only messes things up. But it appears that Twigmo does a nice job testing before release the updates so there are no problems.

Please keep up the great Add-on/work and please keep down the low pricing!

Does anyone know what these two scripts are?

The first a rotating banner type script I found on this website:

I already have a rotating banner, but I really like the way this rotating banner works and in appearance...instead of small little dots represents the different rotating pictures, this script has a nice listing/summary of the rotate pictures/products.


The second script is new on eBay and might be something custom to eBay only.

This script is like the 'return to top of page' type script which appears as you scroll down through the product listing so you can click an instantly return to the top of the page. This script, the large banner appears when you scroll down some in the page...but what i really like is that is it puts the Add to Cart/Buy it now type button always on the page so the shopper does not have to scroll back to the top to search and click the add to cart button.


Does anyone know what scripts these are?

Noooo.... Not again!!

Would it be possible to safely combine the Google Tracking with the Shopper Approved code in the same post file? Then once that post file exists then just remove the original override file.

Creating the post file: skins/[SKIN_NAME]/customer/addons/my_changes/hooks/checkout/order_confirmation.post.tpl

And placing both javascripts into the single post file?

shouldn't use an 'override' for any of the order_confirmation hooks. You should never use an override hook unless you absolutely need to replace the existing content and are willing to throw away an other addon pre or post templates.

This is how I started using the override file for the Google Analytics Code.
It works great for the tracking with Google on the order confirmation...but this should have been done differently since it will interfere with trying to use this file 'order_confirmation.post.tpl' in the same directory?

I attempted to try this but in my store (2.2.5) I do not have this file:

The only file I have under the skins/[SKIN_NAME]/customer/addons/my_changes/hooks/checkout/ is: order_confirmation.override.tpl
This file is just the Google Analytics Code for order tracking.

Could I just add the order_confirmation.post.tpl file in this directory with the Shopper Approved code ... or would the order_confirmation.override.tpl file 'override' anything else in this directory?

Originally I just had the basic code in an HTML BLOCK, but it just provides limited or no information about the customer that left the review. And it was very easy to do with placing right into an HTML BLOCK directly through CS-Cart (this is the only reason why I placed the code here). But I did not know the limitations of the HTML BLOCK and not being able to see the variables. This is why I am hoping to be able to use the extra features like automatically adding on the order # to the review to better handle them (if any action is required).

On my successful order landing page (CS-Cart 2.2.5), the script is placed in its own HTML BLOCK.
The code above is the same as what I am actually using, less the orderid, name, and email variables as I cannot seem to retrieve that data.

tbirnseth - I tried using the {ldelim} and {ldelim} smarty tags as you suggested but it still would just transfer $order_info.order_id instead of the actual order ID #.

eComLabs - I tried this too as you have shown with the literal tags moved but this time the Shopper Approved popup never appeared.

For the actual Shopper Approved code/script, I just have this code in its own HTML BLOCK on the order landing page. Could this be why none of the suggestions are working? Should I try pasting the code somewhere else like maybe in the language file?

Unfortunately it does not seem to work. It only passed through the variable but not the actual data.
So looking at the feedback left in the Shopper Approved system, the Order ID was transferred as '{$order_info.order_id}'....and the same with the name and email.

Could it be being 2.25 CS-Cart that there are no variables once the order is completed and the customer goes to the thank you/order landing page?

On my order landing page (CS-Cart 2.2.5), I am using Shopper Approved Ratings code which just puts a popup on the thank you for your order and just asks to rate their experience shopping. There is now an option with the Shopper Approved code that I can automatically pass some information to the rating such as Order #, Name, and email.

Here is the sample Shopper Approved code:

Has the credit card payment issue been resolved? You mentioned that switching credit card processors the other month caused issues with some credit cards not being able to be used anymore. Has this been fixed?
