I will leave all as is for now.

There is no good reason for the process to change as I have made

no changes at all to my CS-Cart script.

"Do not receive IPN messages" option is enabled but this is odd because the PayPal email address

used in CS-Cart is the same used for eBay payments and I do receive IPN's for eBay payments.

If I enable "Receive IPN messages" a URL is required.

Would this be the domain name used for my CS-Cart ?

Cart Version 4.3.9

There has been no modification to our cart.

For the past month all PayPal paid orders are showing status as 'Open'.

I have to check for IPN's from PayPal or login to PayPal to confirm payment

and then manually mark the order as 'Processed'.

Up until this point orders would always show as 'Processed'.

Does anyone know if PayPal have changed their procedure ?

Well my heart jumped when I googles CS-CART AFTERPAY and I saw what Beads saw.

Thing is it's at the CS-CART Marketplace which I 'thought' was run by CS-CART itself.

I guess us Aussies will just have to wait and wait and wait, which may be a good thing because 

once there is a proliferation of buy now pay later schemes it tends to be an indicator of a

souring economy.

Thanks johnbol1. It was possible that someone could have used my license number

to activate a cart and it might have 'appeared' that it was me doing it. I know I could

prove that I owned the license but my store could have been shut down temporarily. 

Contacted support and they re-issued my license and blocked the old one.

Potential problem solved. Note to self to take care in future.

Recieved an email from Yan asking to leave a review of CS-Cart

with a reward of 25 support credits.

I wasn't motivated by the credits but rather helping promote a great cart.

SoftwareSuggest asked for verification that I was a real CS-Cart user

and I sent a screen shot from my Help Desk.

GAK!! I was tired and realised 'after' that the screen shot included my

active license number.

What can happen ?

If they are untrustworthy can I lose my store ?

All good now. Just ticks but I haven't changed my normal pattern.

Maybe the game sites had a momentary bad rep. Who knows.

Couldn't be bothered going to Google forum.

Same IP address since the captcha 'problem' began.

A few days of it being difficult to solve ( or rather it

not seeing my answers were correct ).

Now back to 'ticks'. I haven't changed my habits so

it must remain a mystery.

On most sites where google captcha is lurking I get annoyed by signs and cars.

In the last couple of days captcha has only been acting up at one game site.

 

Vive the thought of revolution because the actuality is dead.

So why exactly is google re-captcha better than the captcha that

CS-Cart has in mine ( Version 4.3.9 ) ?

I have been having a terrible time logging in using Google Re-captcha

on other web sites. 

I was getting some spam registrations at my CS-Cart store and just went

to 5 characters instead of 4 and all has been fine ever since.

I won't be upgrading my cart until this Google problem is solved.

There is no way my customers will tolerate Google Re-Captcha

if their experience is similar to mine.

 

Most importantly, does CS-Cart have any plans to deprecate their

own reliable Captcha ?

As stated earlier...

The standard captcha no longer works and that's why CSC replaced it with Google recaptcha.

I am using Version 4.3.9 and the captcha works just fine therefore I assume you are talking about

more recent versions of CS-Cart.

Google re-captcha is infuriating where road signs and cars are concerned and I won't put my

customers through this so...

is the 'invisible' version of re-captcha working OK for you guys ??

I have been with FastComet since last December 2017 and can't really fault them.

My site has been down for minutes occasionally but turned out to be more my

ISP that was to blame.

Support is very rapid and time zone is not a problem because there always appears

to be someone awake somewhere.

Their free CS-Cart migration went without a hitch.

Why is link text in descriptions always so miserably small ?

Is there a way to change it ?

I am using TinyMCE editor.

 

I found it in Themes but ended up with my store

defaulting to Demo Store ( or rather my logo replaced

with 'Demo Store' )...lol

 

When ever I edited the theme CS-Cart kept asking for

a new name to save it under so I backed out.

After years of using CS-Cart some things just puzzle

the heck out of me.

 

Not really sure why there are 2 Modern themes for my

main layout ( see attached image ).

Maybe I was tinkering earlier and forgot. 

 

I guess I will just have to live with it for now.

I know there is an order complete template but there is no way I would have edited THAT.

It's all in code ( which is something I don't touch ).

It's not a web site 'page' either.
