So after using the latest version 4.4.2 SP 1 we have stumbled across many bugs where we will inform you guys about right now.

 

1. Whenever products are in multiple categories page load gets affected by 4+ seconds of wait time.

Imagine this: I have a product that needs to show in the main category and a sub category of the main category. So the tree would look something like this:

Bicycle trailers --> Bicycle trailer 1

Subcategory bicycle trailers --> bicycle trailer 1

 

But somehow cscart cannot handle these request which can show HUGE, but with that I mean absolutely HUGE performance drops. It causes a page to load from just 1 second, all the way up to 6 seconds. --> the only thing affected here is the waiting time (TTFB), the actual page loading speed when the complete page is downloaded stays the same.

 

2. API performance is still very poor. http://forum.cs-cart...pi-performance/--> as discussed here

 

3. CSS code is not minimized. Please do this, its almost as easy as removing spaces (which can save in some cases over ~100 kb.

 

4. Redis is not performing well, whenever you have multiple cscart versions running on a server the cache files on redis will interfere and cause horrible issues (like links and carts showing other products, links redirecting you to the other store, and so on).

 

Please let me know how you guys solved these issues as they are VERY important to me

We are glad to present you the add-on CS-Cart Paypal Adaptive Payment

Overview :

This impressive add-on effortlessly split payments among different vendors and admin. It will automatically calculate & split the amount from the customer at the time of payment. The amount will be transferred automatically to primary and secondary receiver as per the payment type (Chained or Parallel) chosen at admin end. This provides a hassle free payment experience by making safe and secure transactions.

Features :

• -> Well integrated with CS-Cart Multi-Vendor.
• -> Functionality to split payment among Vendors and Admin.
• -> Supports Parallel and Chained Payment methods of Adaptive Paypal.
• -> Allows admin to assign Fees Payer (either sender or the receiver of payment) to pay transaction fees to Paypal.
• -> Functionality to transfer vendor's amount directly into his paypal account at the time of purchase.
• -> Provides safe and secure payment to handle risk management system.

Once the add-on is installed successfully, go to add-on settings. Set the parameters as per the below snapshot.

Back End View :

Create a new payment method by setting the parameters to configure Paypal Adaptive Payment as shown below in the snapshot.

Click on “Configure” and set the parameters as shown in the following snapshots.

Customer will get redirected to Paypal site to complete the payment process.

 

View at customer end in case of Parallel Payment :

 

During parallel payment type, customer will be able to view the share of vendors and admin separately on the payment page.

During chained payment , customer will not be able to view the share of vendors and admin separately. Customer will only see the total amount as per the below screen shot.

Global Settings :

Enter the credentials and select the mode of payment to configure Adyen Payment Gateway as shown below in the screen shot.

Configuration Of HPP (Skin) :

• -> Set the name of the payment method.
• -> For checkout choose the processor as “Adyen Payment Gateway (Skin) ”.
• -> Select template as “cc_outside.tpl” from the dropdown.
• -> Set Payment Category as Credit Card.
• -> Configure the other tabs accordingly as shown below in the snapshot.

• -> Choose the Default Currency for the Adyen Payment.
• -> Select the payment type either Single page payment or Multiple page payment.
• -> Enter the skin code and HMAC keys generated for this skin code.
• -> Enter the number of shipping days in integer within which the products can be delivered.
• -> Set the order status for Successful transactions.
• -> Select the order status for Failed transactions.
• -> Set the order status for Pending transactions.
• -> Click on Save button to save the configuration settings.

For payment via “Adyen Payment Method” select the option as shown below in the snapshot.

How to Manage Refund :

Go to “Marketing” tab and click on “Adyen Refund” to manage the refund as shown below.

Refund logs will be listed here as shown in the below snapshot. Please click on “+” button to create a new refund.

• -> Enter the Order id for which the refund need to be created.
• -> Enter the Amount to be refunded.
• -> Click on Refund button to make a refund.

here I present a simple new paid add-on "Order Cancellation"

SHORT DESCRIPTION :

This magnificent extension gives the customers privilege of cancelling their orders. The eligibility of order cancellation is based on product, price of order, time period and status of order. Here Admin just needs to assign simple conditions based on these scenarios to avail this feature to his/her customers.

• 2. The functionality to create conditions for order cancellation is provided to admin.
