Can't Log In To Admin

Hi, Please help!

All of a sudden when I enter my email and password to enter the admin panel, it just processes and then re-displays the login screen with the fields blank! Also, doing the 'forgot password' sends the email, but clicking on the emailed link just returns me to the default login screen again.

I have no idea how to proceed?!?

Thanks in advance : )

Are you running ssl? If so, was there a certificate change?

In case anyone else has this issue:

This problem was solved by out host. They updated the PHP version on our site as it was using the default version after some maintenance.

Thanks for the reply. Actually yes. I had to install a new certificate a few days ago (due to Chrome no longer playing with Symantec), but I checked after installing and everything seemed fine.

Out host seems to have solved the issue (see below).

Thanks again

Glad you got it sorted out. SSL can be an issue since it's usually cached in the browser.

I, too, am having the same problem. Our website has just gone 'Live' with an SSL. I'm in a closed loop of getting the password recovery e-mail and the link just takes me back to the login page. I never get to the page where I can change my password.

You mention that your "host seems to have solved the issue (see below)." There is nothing "below". Can you PM me with the details of what your host did to solve the problem.

Alternately, if anyone else knows what server-side fix should be made, please feel free to chime in. I'd hate to have our new site up but not get into it to process orders. This time of year, we have orders arriving every day.

PM me temporary FTP access. I will ask our specialists to check the issue

Thanks for the offer eComLabs. It seems that it was a cache issue on my laptop. Everything worked out just fine when I logged in through both of our office computers. Also, with the laptop once the cache was cleared.
