Multiple Locations, Multiple Taxes But Single Shipping Rate

Hello,

Since I'm in Canada, I need to set up multiple different location for each provinces to be able to set up a different tax rates for every provinces.

But when I set up a manual shipping method, it seems impossible to set a global shipping rate for all the Canada. I have to set the same shipping rate on every location that exist.

Is there a way to have a default rate for all the Canada and not set it up for every provinces ?

I’m experiencing the same pain. I’m actually shocked that this isn’t possible! It appears to be a very poor design or some sort of a bug. Not intuitive at all! I hope this will be improved very soon.

You may create different locations for Canada (ex.Alberta, Quebec, Ontario etc.) You can even create locations for different cities in one province. Then, set the rates for different locations - shipping charges tab on editing shipping method page.
