How To Stop Upgrade By Force?

I am doing upgrade (4.5.2.SP2)---> 4.6.1

But It is taking many times more than 24 hours, It is doing now continuosly. I am getting crazy.

So, I just want to stop this upgrade.

1) How to stop this upgrade by force?

2) How to recover main page(store front) to original status?
Main page shows "Store closed, Sorry, the store is temporarily closed for maintenance."

O.K. Really thank you.

I opened store front as you instructed.

But, How can I stop processing upgrade?

There's no menu to quit ,,, I can't find it how to stop upgrade?

Would you let me know one more time? Thanks in advance.

Close your web browser

Some parts of it (like compression or backup) will run whether there's a browser attached or not and won't stop till it tires to do output.

Surest way is to restart Apache (or whatever Web Service you use).

Note that you can enable development mode to skip backup and decrease upgrading time. Do not forget to create full backup at first.
