Thank you for the clarification. Additional custom development work is required in this case. Selected values should be stored in the session and will be pre-selected in the catalog

Can't he make a custom link in the menu that turns on the filter? Just add something like ?features_hash=6-10370

Sure, he can. But it will be required to create such link for each category
