Should I SSL my full site? Is there an SEO benefit to this?

At least Google likes it

Currently we have checkout, profile and order pages. If I change to full site I am going to experience some ranking drops aren't I? I have a lot of keywords on first page of Google - but some stuff is a constant battle. Long term, I think full site SSL would be best - agree?

I wouldnt panic, you may see a small drop but it will come back within days, we also have 1st page keywords, and when we changed to full SSL they came back they came back stronger we feel.

Rememebr to create a new property in webmsater tools for the https version, then you will see the http links drop as the https version grow at the same time

I agree with John. Rank will be restored soon after small drop.

Ok so thats that, going full SSL

I did that too. I lost my rich snippets showing up though which sucks.. still hoping they'll come back.

Ive never had much luck with the snippets, on my "to do list" but i never seem to find a "snippet" of time to get it done
