product options tooltip.

I have 1000s of product options and now want to go and add some info to the option as per screenshots

I can do this one by one, but will take a looooong time. the info is the same for all my options. Is there any way I can do it via import or db.

I think you can export options as part of the product export and exclude info you don't want, What I would do is add the text to a few products and then export all products. find the text that I have added on the few products and replicate it in the others. Then do an import on all the products. As always ensure you do a backup of products before import just in case something goes wrong.

Cheers, but the tooltip info isnt part of the export. If they were all global options linked it wold be fine but they arent.

Its a PITA, but im sure it can be done some way

Is the 'Qty' option created by you? If yes go to options, edit the related option with the 'description' and 'comment'. It appears a error message, ignore it. Click the button 'Apply to products', choose the products and save. That's it.
