Category Side Menu Link Color

Hi
I think the is fairly simple but was unsure about how to do this.
I'd like the side menu categories links has a different color when the user is on that current page.
For example, if you click on the Rugs, Throws & Cushions category the link text is yellow.
I pressume it will be editng the menus block but was unsure.
Can anybody help/advise?

Unfortunately no extra classes are added. It will be required to modify code of the corresponding template
