how can i setup place order after successful credit cart payment ?

 

now cs-cart placing orders before credit card processing ?

Unfortunately, that's not the workflow of cs-cart.

I agree with Tony, it will be required to completely rework CS-Cart core

Johnbol1 - who is your request being made to?   In cs-cart, an order is created and then payment is processed.  There is no provision to hold off on creating an order until after payment is processed.  It would be a major architectural restructuring to do so and I'm not sure why one would want to do so.  I would think a store owner would want as much info as possible about their conversion process.

I was wondering what he was trying to translate, I think something has got lost in translation, and if the simtech quote system would perhaps work for him.

CS-Cart works in the same way. If the order status will not be changed to Open, Processed or Completed, cart will not be cleared

It works as follows:

 

1. Customer places order. The order gets status "open" (unpaid). 

2. Customer pays with credit card for example. Usually this happens directly after ordering. The order goes to status "processed" (paid). 

3. Now you can ship and set the order to complete.

All true, but his original post was to NOT have the order PLACED until AFTER payment had been processed.  There was no mention of simply preserving the cart until the payment activity was complete.  But the OP should be reminded that the order will NOT show up in the standard order listing but instead, he needs to view incompleted orders.

Possibly teosu just wants to save cart content on unsuccessful statuses. In this case, it is required to check the Inventory parameter of required statuses

all ecommerce sites. working this way.

if payment fail. or unsuccessful your are going fail page with error.

and products wait on cart.

CS-Cart works in the same way. To show error message and save products in cart, make sure that the Inventory option of the fail order status is set Increase
