I setup a special Admin UserGroup with limited permissions. I called it SEOPEOPLE. I can not figure out how to assign this usergroup to an existing Admin account? Instructions say to:

Step 2. Add Administrators to the Group

2.1. Go to Customers → Administrators.

2.2. Click the desired name to open the user’s profile.

2.3. Switch to the User groups tab.

2.4. Set the status to Active for the group you’ve just created.

I DO NOT have a User Group Tab, only an API Access tab?  CS-Cart 4.3.10

What Darius means is that the admin account YOU are using needs to have the "is_root" column in cscart_users set to "Y".  There is no UI interface in the cart for doing this so it has to be done manually.  The original admin account that was created during the initial install is the only admin account by default that is_root-=Y.

If you have multiple storefronts, make sure to go to ALL SUPPLIERS - this will make the usergroup tab appear.

Suggest you verify 2 things:

1) That the table cscart_usergroup_links does NOT have a row for your user_id

2) That the table cscart_users has the column "is_root" set to 'Y' for your user_id
