Exclude Categories From Being Used In Breadcrumb

Is there an way to exclude certain categories from being used by the store in the breadcrumb or does it need custom coding ?

Would it be possible to have addon where you can select which category a product is assigned to NOT to be included in a breadcrumb.

For instance we have certain administrative discount categories that appear in the breadcrumb.

Lets say we have admin cat1 which is used for purely administrative purposes, you (we) do not want that category to appear in the breadcrumb.

We much rather have some control on which categories may be included in the breadcrumb of an product and which not.

Category A = Type (a kind of product)

B = Purpose category

C = For whom ? , men, women, children, elderly etc.

D =
