I have a problem with realtime shipping. I have setup the UPS realtime shipping price system. The price that CSCART gets and uses is ex vat. Vat here in Ireland is 23.5% so the quotes given by cscart are 23.5% wrong which is a massive amount.
The problem is I cannot just tick the VAT checkbox. when i do this i can get the cart to add 23.5% to the shipping cost but it then comes up as vat on the customer invoice. Im not VAT registered so cannot have VAT on the invoice.
I just need a way to add 23.5% to the price calculated by cscart. CSCart support said to use the "Shipping Charges" tab but this only adds price to the total products being bought and not the actual shipping rate.
To me, unless i am doing something wrong, is a bug in the system? how can this possibly work if the realtime price is 23.5% wrong?
Any other non vat registered companies using cscart and realtime shipping together?
You can alter received rate in the app/Tygh/Shippings/Services/Ups.php file
$return['cost'] = $rates[$code]['rate'];
E.g. you can multiply this value to the required coefficient
Hi, many thanks for replying. thats great. will keep that in mind as a backup. I'm hoping cscart will fix this as I'm fairly sure its a bug.
cscart is returning a subtotal from UPS and not the total payable for shipping.
You can see on the attached screen shot, the cs cart quote of €22.30, the actual cart checkout price of €22.30 and then the quote from ups showing €22.30 as a subtotal and €27.43 as the total payable.
