In attempting to get my page generation time down, I've found that one of the biggest offenders is the search block. It's taking 210ms at render begin and another 210ms at render end (according to debug logger), where nearly all other blocks are in the 10's of ms range. Is this normal? Are there any known tweaks to improve this?
Nevermind... theme was modifying the default search creating a ridiculous number of queries.
