We have created CS-Cart Dropbox Backup in order to give you peace of mind that your store is backed up on a regular basis. It will automatically upload a backup of your entire CS-Cart Store, including all files, images and its database seperatly, to Dropbox.
Just choose the type of backup (Database, Store Files, Images) create a Cron with day and time and how often you wish your backup to be performed and relax and wait for your store files to be dropped in your Dropbox! You can create Unlimited dropbox backups!
Also you can initiate one backup manually by choosing the type of Backup from the Dropbox Backup item Menu under Addons Menu.
You can set where you want your backup stored within Dropbox, the addon uses OAuth so your Dropbox account details are not stored for the
plugin to gain access.
You can even use this Addon to migrate your store even without cpanel o FTP access, as it is copying all store files complete!
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- PHP 5.3 or higher with cURL support
- A Dropbox account. In order to use the plugin you will need a Dropbox account. Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily.
- CS-Cart Version 4.4.x or higher
IMPORTANT
- For large files like DBs over 500MB you need to check memory limit of your PHP configuration
- The Cron jobs set up on your server, should have at least 5-minute intervals between the different kind of Backups (Database, Store Files, Images)
