How will the vendor come to know the Vendor has updated the product and resubmitted for Approval?

I can offer you some solutions:
1. To show product status on the product details and product list pages.
2. To send an e-mail to vendor with the product status

I just checked (Multivendor v4.5.2 SP2) and the product should be switched back to Pending after vendor edited it. If it does not happen, perhaps some bug appears on your store. Do you use any third party addons? If yes, please try to deactivate all third party addons and reproduce this problem.

Yes I just checked the same. Settings are similar but when the Vendor edits the product again after the disapproval the state doesnt change to Pending. we are at version 4.2.4 MVE. Can you please check the same for this version ?
I will try disabling the addons as well and test it.
